About.
1978. I discovered Hard Rock, Heavy Metal & Guitar Solos. I was hooked immediately. All of the great bands of the 60's and 70's - I consumed their work with a passion. Progressive Rock soon followed. And Fusion. As the 80's moved on, I followed the shred movement, as well as different forms of metal, be it hair or thrash. If it was good, I listened.

1982. I got my first guitar. It didn't come especially easy, nor especially hard. In particular, the important element was the passion to learn to play and to emulate the sounds of all these great Artists I was listening to. At the same time, technology was expanding the toolbox and the ability of a young guy at home to make his own music. I bought effects, amps, more guitars, synthesizers & started to play bass too. And drum computers. Dad wouldn't allow any drums in the house so I had to learn to write drums without playing. I got pretty good too.
I started writing and recording almost immediately. I got the equipment to produce recordings and I made plenty of cassette tapes worth of mostly naive, somewhat creative, occasionally interesting instrumental music. I tried to sing a little. Didn't much care for the end result. I kept getting a little better.

And every once in awhile I'd hit a playing jump from a plateau. Same thing with writing.

I made a few self-published CD's through the 90's and past 2000.

I spent a lot of time between 2005 to present honing and crafting some material into a sort of concept. Recorded and some re-recorded into an instrumental effort, Still Motion.

Hard Rock, Metal, Prog, A little jamming, a little Thrash, all instrumental.
